Carlo Ancelotti has addressed his uncertain future at Real Madrid, insisting he will only leave the club if he is sacked amid links to Xabi Alonso.

Alonso, currently at Bayer Leverkusen and the favourite to replace Alonso. Could take over as early as this summer, although the experienced Italian has revealed he has no plans to quit.
Both coaches are contracted to the club until mid-2026. And Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro recently said he expected Alonso to stay at the club beyond the end of the season. Asked earlier
this week about speculation he could be sacked, Ancelotti made it clear he would not step down early.
Speaking to PoretCast di Giacomo Poretti, he said: “I don’t know when. “

Back in January, Ancelotti had laughed off speculation. He had decided to leave the club at the end of the season regardless of performances, pointing to Florentino Perez’s re-election as president.
“I want to make it clear. That I have never set a date in my life to leave this club,” he said.
“I have the advantage that Florentino will be here for another four years. And I aim to reach the finish line with him.
“We have time to say goodbye to each other.”
