Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has praised Luis Suarez ‘s two goals in the last game.

Atletico opened the nest to draw 2-2 with Real Sociedad in La Liga on Sunday. In that game, the team had to go two goals behind but Suarez scored two goals for the team to score 1 point.

After the game, the head coach of Rojéblancos did not forget to praise the 34-year-old forward’s performance, which narrowly helped the team escape their defeat.

“He’s a really great player. Especially when he’s in the box,” Simeone told Marca.

“Our problem is not in the attack game. Goals conceded had a huge impact on us, but with Suarez we always had the option of scoring goals or passing the ball to our team-mates.

Throughout the past there has been news that Suarez is  looking to get a new contract from the club. Because the original is about to run out at the end of this season.

Luis Suarez scored a second half brace as Atletico Madrid came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home against Spanish LaLiga leaders Real Sociedad on Sunday.

Imanol Alguacil’s Socieded took an early lead when Swedish striker Alexander Isak set up Alexander Sorloth in the seventh minute. Isak got on the scoresheet himself three minutes after halftime with a clinical finish from a set piece.

However, Suarez rose to meet a pinpoint cross from Joao Felix around the hour mark to inspire the home fans inside the packed Wanda Metropolitano.
